Callie Welstead

I am Miss Callie – an enthusiastic and approachable teacher who is committed to customising lessons to meet the particular needs of each student. I have taught MYP and DP Mathematics for over 20 years in Italy, Portugal, Czechia, Albania and Hong Kong. My students achieve excellent results in their exams and often contact me from university if they need additional guidance or encouragement. I have an undergraduate degree in BioChemistry, a Masters in Mathematics Education and a PhD in Education. I taught for an online university for 15 years, before online education was widely practised, so I have developed strong communication skills and teaching practices for the online environment.
